Mackler forms new company, acquires trade show

Westport, Conn.—Eagle Eye Expositions, a new company formed by former HMP Communications and Cygnus Business Media CEO Paul Mackler, has acquired a trade show, Border Security Expo, from E.J. Krause & Associates. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Mackler is president-CEO of Eagle Eye Expositions. This year's Border Security Expo, held in Phoenix in March, posted a 24% increase in exhibit space and a 21% increase in attendance over the 2011 event.
